Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients: 

1/2 c margarine or crisco

1 c white sugar

1 egg

1/ 1/2 c flour

pinch of salt

1 tsp backing soda in 1tbsp of boiling water

1 cp mashed bananas (about 3 large)

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 c choc. chips

Instructions: 

Mix it all together really well and bake in greased loaf pan at 325 F for 20 min. It is done when knife comes out clean (recheck if it comes out with chocolate on it!)

Comments: 

Make at home, thoroughly cool, and then wrap tightly in seran. Slide into a clean and dried 2L milk carton. Seal the top with tape. Will keep really well for at least 3 days - if you can hold out that long! It will keep longer if you take it frozen.
