Basic Bannock

Ingredients: 

3 cups white flour

1/2 cup soy flour

2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup bran

2 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2/3 cup shortening

2/3 cup milk powder

2 cups water (approx.)

Instructions: 

Mix all dry ingredients together and work in the shortening until evenly mixed. Add only enough water to get a stiff dough.
