Chicken Mushroom Almondine

Ingredients: 

2 packages of Lipton Chicken Noodles and Sauce or Chicken and Mushroom Sauce

1c of dehydrated mixed veggies

1/2 cup of dried mushrooms

1 1/2 cup of freeze dried chicken or 2 cups of dehydrated chicken

1 cup of slivered almonds

1tbsp of oil or margarine

2tbsp of powdered milk (if milk is called for on the Liptons package you have chosen)

Instructions: 

Re-hydrate chicken in hot water 1 hour before dinner (may wish to simmer lightly to speed things up). Add mixed veggies 30-40 min later. Drain and retain the water. Mix up the Noodles and Sauce according to package directions in same pot as chicken and veggies, using the retained chicken water. When sauce is just about to desired thickness, add mushrooms and almonds.

Comments: 

Excellent with dehydrated green beans or Peas. May use 1-2 large cans of flaked chicken instead. 4 packages of the Noodles and sauce will do 6 people.
