Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients: 

6 servings freeze-dried ground beef

5 tbsp dried onion flakes

1 1/2 cups freeze-dried corn

1 1/2 cups freeze-dried peas

1 can mushroom gravy (or powdered gravy mix to make equivalent)

3 cups instant mashed potato flakes

Instructions: 

Over heat, rehydrate the beef, onion, corn and peas and season to taste Add the can of gravy or gravy mix. Simmer until thickened. In a mixing bowl or pot, prepare the instant mashed potatoes. Spread a layer of mashed potatoes over the meat/veggie mixture. Can be baked in an oven (reflector or Outback) to brown the top; or served just as it is.
