Split pea soup with dumplings

Ingredients: 

1/2cup split peas

1 pouch Knorr cream of vegetables

Veggies (fresh or dehydrated: onions, carrots, tomatoes, celery, turnip...)

1/2cup bisquik mix

Instructions: 

Soak the peas in water during the day. Bring about 3-4 cups of water to a boil. Add the split peas, veggies and soup base. Simmer for 15 minutes. Mix the Bisquick with water to make firm dough. Drop the dough by spoonfuls in the soup. Simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes or until the dumplings are cooked.
